Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm

Hey all!

This is my very first post, and I am super excited to tell you all about this awesome product.

Left to right: Caramel Daisy, Honeysuckle, and Blush Orchid.

I have never been a big fan of Burt's Bees products but this one came highly recommended in the blogosphere and since I am a product whore, I just had to try it. I am so glad I did!



The first color I'll be reviewing today is Caramel Daisy. This is a beautiful honey brown color and is very sheer with a slight shimmer.

The second color is my favorite, Honeysuckle. It's more of a peachy tan color that is also sheer and shimmery and seems to be the most saturated of the 3 colors. I love it <3!

And last but never least, Blush Orchid. A gorgeous pink shimmer balm that is perfect for the no makeup look. Not much color but adds a beautiful shine. (You may not be able to see it too well in the pictures since it is so sheer.)

Final verdict- I would totally suggest these for any skin tone and complexion. The only down side about having these for the summer is the lack of SPF, but that can easily be remedied by layering it over your sunscreen, chapstick or lipstick with a good SPF rating.

The consistency of this product is smooth and buttery, it feels like a treat for your lips. I used to use the Burt's Bees chapstick and I stopped because it seemed too hard and waxy but this has an awesome feel and is now a must have for my makeup bag.

There are many other colors but I only purchased the 3 to try. I may review the others at a later date.
