Indoor Light: (Left to Right) Foxy, Half Baked, Booty Call, Chopper, Tease, Snake Bite, Suspect, Pistol, Verve, YDK, Busted, and Blackout. |
Lets start with the first 5 colors -
Left to Right: Foxy, Half Baked, Booty Call, Chopper, and Tease. |
Half Baked- Shimmery tan
Booty Call- Shimmery pink
Chopper- Shimmery mid tone copper
Tease- Matte mauve brown
Foxy is an excellent base color for me to build on. You cannot see it in the picture because it matches my skin tone and blends right in.
Half Baked is one of my faves from this palette it's a great lid color and golden shimmer makes my eyes pop.
Booty Call is another color I love I use it on my brow bone and gives me a little extra shimmer and highlight.
Chopper is a great mid tone that I like to use to on my lid as well. Not quite dark enough for a good crease color for me.
Tease.... meh. It's a good mauve brown but I find little use for it. It may be a great color with the Naked Basics palette, but I haven't had a chance to try it.
The next 4 colors-
Left to Right: Snake Bite, Suspect, Pistol, and Verve. |
Snake Bite- Rich shimmery brown
Suspect- Shimmery mid tan
Pistol- Shimmery gray brown
Verve- Shimmery tan pink
Snake Bite is a great crease color for a more subtle look.
Suspect is awesome for a base or lid color, great for everyday.
Pistol is really fun for a crease or lid color, depending the drama you want.
Verve is a good all around color for day or night and great over a darker color to tone it down.
And the last 3 colors-
Left to Right: YDK, Busted, and Blackout. |
Busted- Deep shimmery brown
Blackout- Shimmery charcoal brown
YDK is a great copper shimmer color. I use it for my daily look, but you can also build with it for a dramatic look.
Busted is my fave out of this palette for my crease. It goes with everything and has great coverage.
Blackout is perfect for dramatic sexy eyes.
Final Verdict -
I really like this palette for me... but to be honest you can make similar looks with a cheaper shadow palette. It just may not be as easy and as pigmented as the original, but it can be done.
One of the palettes I suggest is the Physicians Formula Nude Palette.
Its a pretty palette but will take a lot more effort and shadow to get similar pigmentation. It has cute packaging and colors without breaking the bank. (I would buy a better brush cause the applicator kinda sucks.)
Also E.L.F. has a nice nude palette that has just about every shimmery brown you'd ever need. It has better pigmentation than the Physicians Formula, but still not as good as the Naked2.
But in the end if you are looking for quality over quantity, and can afford it, I suggest you go with the Naked2.
XOXOXOXOXOXO
